We want to get to know you – and for you to get to know us. Our events are the perfect way to learn about each other. Never imagined yourself at an algo‑trading firm? Don’t worry – most of us had little to do with trading before we joined. We’re looking for curious people who love technology and creative problem‑solving. In short, people like you.

Prague
Qminers Chat & Drinq
A regular meet‑up on a variety of topics. They all have one thing in common: you’ll get to know us through interesting talks and lectures, meet potential future colleagues and enjoy a relaxed evening with refreshments on our terrace in the heart of Prague.
Czech Rep and Slovakia
CTU Open Contest
We’re proud to be partners of one of the most traditional student programming contests. In early November, hundreds of students from Czech and Slovak technical universities will compete, with the best advancing to the ICPC regional round and aiming for the ICPC World Finals. Registration is already open, and the finals take place on November 7–8. And we’ll be there!

Qminers Hackathon
Every year we host the Quant Hackathon – a programming competition with a trading‑related theme. Autumn 2025 will be the fifth edition. Attractive cash prizes and the prestige of winning against tough competition are at stake.

PyData & Pyvo
We attend meet‑ups of the Czech Python community and sometimes host one ourselves. You’ll meet someone from Qminers at almost every event. Not many people realise it, but almost everything here is written in Python and our PyDev team is integral to most of our processes. Interested? Come along and say hello – and ask us anything.
Universities, national and international competitions
Job Fairs & Career Days
Every spring you can meet us at the career days of major universities. You'll easily spot our booth, and there's always a member of our core team available to answer your questions. Throughout the year we also support competitions such as Náboj, SVOČ or Fyziklání – you can meet us there too.

Sue Ryder Charity Cup
We don’t just chase financial markets – we chase the football too. We take part in the charity tournament organised by the Sue Ryder foundation, which we’ve been supporting almost from day one, and we’re no pushovers on the pitch. Will you come and cheer us on, or join us as a guest player?
