Our events are a chance to meet the people behind Qminers, understand how we think, and see whether our way of working could be a good match for yours.
We’re looking for experienced people who enjoy building things properly, thinking beyond obvious solutions, and working with others who care about the craft as much as the outcome

A regular meet‑up on a variety of topics. They all have one thing in common: you’ll get to know us through interesting talks and lectures, meet potential future colleagues and enjoy a relaxed evening with refreshments on our terrace in the heart of Prague.
We're partnering with one of the most established student programming competitions. At the end of October 2026, hundreds of students from technical universities across Czechia and Slovakia will take part, and the best will advance to the ICPC regional round and from there toward the ICPC World Finals. On October 16, a week before the competition, we're hosting a Qminers workshop for the participants!
This year, for the first time, we're hosting a trading hackathon with Prague's Matfyz (MFF UK)! 200 spots, a prize pool of 200,000 CZK, and a competition where teams will have to do what every good trader does. Understand the market, build an algorithm, let it trade, and earn profit!
We attend meet‑ups of the Czech Python community and sometimes host one ourselves. You’ll meet someone from Qminers at almost every event. Not many people realise it, but almost everything here is written in Python and our PyDev team is integral to most of our processes. Interested? Come along and say hello – and ask us anything.
Every spring you can meet us at the career days of major universities. You'll easily spot our booth, and there's always a member of our core team available to answer your questions. Throughout the year we also support competitions such as Náboj, SVOČ or Fyziklání – you can meet us there too.
We don’t just chase financial markets – we chase the football too. We take part in the charity tournament organised by the Sue Ryder foundation, which we’ve been supporting almost from day one, and we’re no pushovers on the pitch. Will you come and cheer us on, or join us as a guest player?
