Qminers is a Czech technology company founded in 2012. It develops algorithmic software that autonomously trades on global financial markets. The success of Qminers is the result of a passion for rigorous mathematics, cutting-edge science, statistics, and data modeling, brought together by a diverse team of fifty talented mathematicians, analysts, and programmers. The company operates as a market maker: at any given moment, it can provide both a price at which it is willing to buy and a price at which it is willing to sell. This enables other market participants to trade quickly and efficiently. In 2023, the company established the Qminers Foundation, which donates 10% of profits to charitable causes each year. The foundation also gave rise to the initiative, and today endowment fund, Matika Česku.

The Qminers Foundation was established by Petr Zahradník and Martin Hadrava to support the pursuit of public benefit goals in the areas of education, ecology, culture, human rights, and social services. The foundation allocates up to 10% of the company’s annual profits to charitable purposes. In 2023, the charitable project Matika Česku was created under the Qminers Foundation. The following year, it became independent and is now a standalone endowment fund. Qminers remain one of the project’s main donors, and Petr Zahradník serves as Chairman of the Board.
